Spring Break at Last....

It's Spring....and I use that word lightly....Break, and yes in Ohio that means that tomorrow they are predicting 6 inches of snow. But that is OK with me because the cupboards are full of food and I have 8 more days off....WoooHoooo!! I love my job but I needed a bit of R & R & B....that's rest, relaxation and blogging. I have about a bazillion blogs in my reader to get caught up on and some new blog designs to get finished.
In case you didn't read I have started to design blog layouts...in addition to my clip art and educational items. I have a new blog for my designing where I will post pictures but since it is new I thought I would share my latest creation here. I just finished this design for Cherie from Hip, Hop, Hurray....Tales from an Artroom. Cherie writes about her experiences in the art room and her love of literature. She also posts lots of great photos of student artwork.... so many creative and unique projects!! You should definitely check out her blog!! Here is how it turned out. She picked great colors!!

    Nancy: I recently had the layout of my own blog changed, so I'm going to see give that some time and see how it goes. But it's nice to know that you can produce such wonderfully beautiful blog designs, for future reference. One thing I was wondering about was whether you have any tips for increasing traffic to a teacher blog. I'd love to reach more teachers with my own ideas. I try to put up a lot of freebies, but I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or missing something important.
