Funny of the Day

So today one of my most favorite Kindergarten teacher friends was doing her video taping for National Boards. She is an awesome teacher!! She had everything carefully planned and had done practice video taping to ensure perfection....lol. After school she came in to share how it went.... She said that everything was going great and the kids were responding as she had anticipated. The video was going to be great. Towards the end she asked the children "Does anyone else have anything they would like to share?". One of the boys raised his hand, she called on him, and he promptly THREW UP!! Yes...all over the carpet in the middle of the group....and caught on video tape. OMG, we laughed so hard.... Scratch that video for National Boards. :) Hope the little guy feels better soon.

Dr. Seuss Days and a Freebie

We have been having a great time with our Dr. Seuss activities this week. We read several Dr. Seuss books. Our two favorites were The Lorax and Horton Hears a Who. The kiddo's did a fabulous job retelling and sequencing the story...actually an amazing job!! They remembered everything about the stories. We are now writing persuasive reports on our favorite one. I want to share pictures of all our Seuss-ey centers but there are a few that I am not sure of the source for. They were all from TpT, but I want to provide links back to each activity. I will work on finding each creator and load the pictures and activities later in the week.

Kindergarten Homework/Take Home Pack

At our house we have been passing around a yucky stomach bug. Today was my turn....so needless to say I have not left the house today. So far 3 of us have had it. Yuck!!
I have been working all week on a layout design and format for my new homework pack. What I have created is a tic-tac-toe packet. Every child completes the four corners plus any one box to complete a tic-tac-toe. I have 3 more packets started that I will be uploading soon. It is available on my TpT.
